Meet the Team

  • Dr. Rodney Poling, DVM

    -Grew up on a cattle and hog farm in Ohio.

    -Graduated Cum Laude from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973

    -Completed a medical, Surgical, and Pathology Internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston MA in 1974

    -Established the Brookline Animal Hospital in 1975. This facility grew to 7 full time doctors and a staff of 50 including overnight care and emergency services!

    -1980 to 1995 partnered with 11 doctors who had been mentored at Brookline Animal Hospital to purchase or start seven full service veterinary practices in the Boston Area

    -2000 Served as Chief Medical Officer for healthy Pet Corporation to buy and operate 28 Veterinary facilities on the East Coast

    -2005 Purchased the Holliston Animal Hospital and then employed 3 full time doctors and a staff of 15

    -2006 Started Holliston Meadows Pet Resort in Holliston. MA.

    -2008 Purchased Lucky Dogs Pet Resort

    -Member of the AVMA and MVMA (Treasurer, VP, and President).

    -2020 Built Eastside Pet Ranch

    -2021 Started Prairie Creek Animal Hospital on the Eastside Pet Ranch Campus.

    Erika has been in the veterinary field for six years. She graduated from Chico State with a B.S. in Animal Science and a minor in Biology. She aspires to become a veterinarian. When she is not at work, you can find her paddleboarding with friends or hiking with her Border Collie, Rufus.
